Who We Are
Steve Probets took over the reins of Vintage and Vinyl from previous owners Alison and Kevin in September 2022.
He runs the business with support from his wife Laurie, friends, and regular helpers who all make up the V&V team.
The shop celebrated its 12-year anniversary in August 2026!
This is a shot of the usual suspects that make up the V&V Record Store Day team, featuring Chip, Chris, Gina, Laurie and Steve.
They are all kept pretty busy on the day, except Steve, who has been known to escape his duties by regularly helping himself to the customer treats!

This is Martin, you will see him working in the week. He received this opportunity after being made redundant, and in his words “has been the best redundancy in the world!”
This is Kev, from the famous ‘Kev’s Kleans’. He is downstairs in our vault cleaning and testing our used vinyl, making sure it is a in a good condition before coming up to the shop floor.
